Let’s talk about college scholarships. Not everyone knows that there are scholarships that aren’t that hard to get. And the money you get—while not as big as what others might offer—is still substantial, especially for those who are struggling to make ends meet.
Let’s take a look at some easy scholarship options that are worth checking out.
Here’s a list of the easiest college scholarships that almost anyone could apply for and get approved for.
The $2,000 No Essay College Scholarship program is open to all high school and college students. It can be used to pay for tuition, books, housing, or other education-related expenses. As the name of the program suggests, you don’t need to submit an essay to qualify.
You will need to sign up for a Niche account to enter but the whole process shouldn’t take you more than a minute.
The Sweet and Simple Scholarship is open to US students 14 years of age or older. Should you get the scholarship, you’ll be presented $1,500 that you can allocate toward your education.
Part of the application will require you to answer a question though it is an easy one:
“Not every gift has to be expensive or extravagant. In fact, sometimes it’s the sweet and simple things that make a real difference in our lives. Think back and tell us about something you received as a gift and why it meant so much to you.”
Your answer should be 250 words or fewer.
While the Unigo $10K Scholarship might be worth more than the previous entry, the application process is just as simple. As with the Sweet and Simple Scholarship, you will have to answer a question to apply.
“Would you rather be smart, funny, or rich? Why?”
That’s it. You’ll also have to be a US resident and be 14 years of age or older to qualify.
The Cappex $1,000 Easy College Money Scholarship is a program that doesn’t require applicants to write an essay or meet a minimum GPA requirement to enter.
All you’ll need to do is sign up for a Cappex account and answer a few questions about yourself. This is only open to US residents.
The No Essay Smart Owl Scholarship (formerly known as the You Deserve It Scholarship) gives you a chance to get $7,000 for your college expenses. All you need to do is sign up for a ScholarshipOwl account.
You’ll need to be a US resident (any of the 50 states plus the District of Columbia or US territories except Rhode Island and Michigan). You’ll also need to be at least 16 years old.
The Course Hero Sweepstakes lets you enter by sharing your best study documents with other students. For every 10 study docs you share, you get one entry to the sweepstakes. The more entries you have, the more chances you have at winning the $4,000 scholarship.
This will require you to submit at least 10 original study docs so it will require that you put in some effort. But if you already have study docs lying around, you may as well upload them for a chance at winning the sweepstakes.
